VIEWFROM THE LOFT Having succumbed to peer and other pressures to create a personal website I begin here construction which I fear is fated to be a prolonged state. This due to the paired impediments of competing demands and slowness of wit. I have been viewing other personal websites, here in Fortune City and elsewhere. I am stuck with awe at their variety, spontaneity and especially confidence. These observations have led to our theme and purpose which will be to present a window on the Shy People experience of life and the world.

Shy People very much enjoy the company of others but become paralyzed and are struck dumb at the notion of pursuing any activity that may draw attention to themselves.
